I'm Freaking out please Help!!

Hello Everyone,

Last week i've bought a computer.
Until now i still can't use it smoothly, let me explain.

Nothing seems to be right, my SATA Hardrives are deadly slow (3mo/s ) and this influences my whole computer.

A few days ago as i was starting my computer it seemed like most of my apps where removed (as i install them on another (but internal) HD) so i think it's all linked to the hard drives.
They are AHCI, i've installed intel matrix storage and everything but i must have done something wrong

Two days ago, as i was working on a project for work, i started my computer and when i've tried to access my datas all folders where there....but empty....
Thanks to Testdisk i've retrieve every single workfiles i needed and made a backup of them on my external drive.

I've tried as many disk tests possible, using Windows, Tuneup etc etc...
None of them talks about problem....

So if someone knows what it could be please help it's like something really important to me, i absolutely need him (it lol) to work as soon as possible

Here is a little sumup of my config, i think i'm going to reformat everything and install a clean setup of Windows Ultimate 64.

So could someone reaaaallyy nice can tell me step by step what do i have to do (drivers and everything)

in order to make things work.

I took a look to the tutos really nice by the way, but i need something less generalist and more focused on my particular configuration

i've fly the article but it seems to be outdated and not fitting my case. I've an CD installation but i haven't the drivers and all that stuffs

I'd start with updating all your drivers, starting with chipset, the link in my sig has the details. What motherboard do you have, and what controllers? The SATA cable may not be connected properly.

what do you mean by controller? how can i find it out?

For the SATA cable issue i also don't know how to do this,

I've Found this today and it seems like one of the folowing issues is happening to me i'll check this at home.

Reformating everything and reinstalling windows solved my problem,
The reason was AHCI conflict between intel storage, and the default win 7 support,

I've decided not to install intel storage and it works like a charm
