Hello All,

Company i work for just started implementing Win7. Since change from XP we (local IT) lost possibility to use command "runas /user:…. "explorer /separate" " which we used to remotely connect to network drives which normal users dont have access to (drives with applications, updates, drivers etc.). I'm looking for a way to remotely open explorer window with admin rights. Is there a way to do so? Right mouse click + shift -> run as different user dosen't work.

Hello,

It is not what i need - issue is not about remote control over users desktop. We do use remote desktop or communicator desktop share or dameware so we can take control over users machine. Issue is that users dont have admin rights on their laptops so we cant get to some network disks or resources. We used to open different explorer window with my (admin) rights to get to that resources using command i wrote above. Since Win7 blocked that in command line im looking for some workaround.
I'll be gratefull for any advice.

Regards,
Janek
