Hello everybody here at the Win7 forums. I'm new here (because of an issue I wanted solved, but I love forums so I'm staying ) and I figured I'd tell a bit about me.

I make my own music. FL Studio 10 + Guitar; Website
I do my own graphic design. Paint.NET; Forum Gallery
I'm 17, I also love Minecraft. I am very friendly and an easy person to get along with.

I play guitar too I'm not that great at it, and still learning though.


I've finally gotten Barre Chords down where I can form them without mistakes, and switch between Open and Barre Chords fairly easily now.

May sound silly, but I had a LOT of issues with Barres. I suppose my hand simply wasn't strong enough


I have a electric (ESP Vipre). And while I like mostly rock/metal and want to play it, I want to be able to play anything. So trying to study and practice all aspects.
Even country music. Interesting how you can come up with ideas for your own stuff from other styles.



And while I can play my scales (such as the Minor Pentatonic) with my eyes closed, I still have issues coming up with good/original melodies and phrasing from them.
So studying a bit of music theory ATM, in hopes for some elightenment. Im obviously missing something, or simply not creative enough

Haha, I just mostly do it by ear but I taught myself a lot of theory. Started guitar 2 years ago and I love it. The only thing I'm not really good at is vibrato

I love Minor chords/Scales.

Yea, I haven't really got into practicing much on Vibrato or Bends yet either. I can do them, but rather poorly.
My bends for example sound OK, till I realized they do not bend to the next tone as it should. Now Ive starting noticing just how out of tune it is LOL. So lots of practice ahead for me.

Need more work on String muting too. Im OK at it, but can get sloppy at times. I can't keep it tight consistently.

I picked up guitar simply because it was something I always wanted to do. Not to be in a band or anything like that .. just for me.

Best decision I ever made!! So much practice .. but in the end it can be very rewarding for sure.
