IMG Burn question

Hi guys,

I have a curiosity question if you wouldnt mind entertaining me....

so last night I couldnt get a blu-ray copy of little fockers to play on my custom machine. I'm using a Liteon iHes208 Blu-ray ROM and CD/DVD-R/RW. After I installed IMG burn again (Had to reinstall windows-long story) my machine magically picked up the disc and i was able to watch it. does anyone know why this is?

Only thing I can think of is Imgburn has settings to enable or disable autoplay. If you wiped the drive and reinstalled everything then it would be back to the default? Just a guess.
