Having problems exporting my comcast address book to windows live mail address book, can anyone help?

Also tyied exporting address book from plaxo without success, please help!

For reasons I don't entirely understand, import/export to and from email programs is pretty much in the stone age. It just has not improved much over the years.

It rarely works without errors or omissions. In my experience, address books are particularly difficult. You might have to re-enter your addresses by hand if you have them in some form where you can at least read them.
