I have just installed Win 7 and have tried to import my backed up Outlook Express files to Windows Live Mail. It appears towork ok but even though I have seen the folders copied in the import tool, i cannot see all the folders in WLM.

Any ideas folks?

On mine, it copied to a special folder storage, something to do with different system, I guess.

Hi there
get your OE files into a "user" file -- go to maintenance in OE and change the storage folder to something like D:\myemail.pst

Now you can copy / import this into live mail.

Should also work for address book - I tend not to use adress books - but it does import the messages.

I don't really like live mail -- OUTLOOK is better IMO. You can try it free for about a year (Office 2010 beta FREE downloads).
