Try clearing the PC's interior. this error usually caused when the display driver doesn't get any response from the card and hence the driver is unable to report anything to windows which windows sees at driver failure and initiates a timeout period (of 2 sec probably) for the driver to respond. So, check your card and clean the interior.
You can also try running FurMark, a GPU tester which may help you find if something's wrong with the GPU.
