In Win 7 msconfig, I deleted an important Win 7. CAn i restore it ?

From Win 7 msconfig, I deleted an important Win 7. How to restore starting up Win 7 (i.e. dual boot) again?

From Win 7 Ultimate, I used msconfig and deleted Win 7 from Boot tab.
but that win 7 has very important files that i need (I did not format/delete the partition. I deleted only the "Windows 7" from the Boot tab using msconfig in Win 7). Could I restore the dual boot capability again? CAn i restore my deleted files ?

You can use BCDEDIT / create to do this but I think it's easier to use EasyBCD.

You should still have access to all of the files on the drive via Explorer. Just make sure a letter is assigned to it in Disk Mgmt.

Otherwise as Rich says install EasyBCD to Win7 to add the other OS by Name, Type, and drive letter, or let it autocomplete the drive letter first. It should reboot to the Dual Boot Menu.

my laptop was corrupted by missing some operating system files... so i format it
for the first time, the formating process was corrupted
i format it again successfully, so i had three Windows 7 options in the startup menu
so i deleted two options from MSCONFIG, and when I restarted my computer, all the partion was deleted,, i had the two old windows in Partion D, and it was totally gone
I don't know why this happened with me

This can happen if you don't delete the old Win7 partition and create it again. In fact its best to delete all partitions during install.

To do this you must boot the installer: How to Boot A Computer from CD or DVD - YouTube

Then follow these steps to Clean Install Windows 7. At Steps 7 and 8 use the Drive Options to delete all partitions, create new as you wish, or if you don't have a partition plan in mind just highight the Unallocated Space and click Next and the installer will create and format one large install partition for you and begin.

In addition look over these steps for Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which compile all the tips and tricks which assure you'll get and keep a perfect install.

but there are important files i want from the previous one,,, and i desperately want them,, can i have them back ??

Your files should always be backed up externally in case of HD failure. If the OS fails they can almost always be rescued using one of the methods in Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start which also shows everything that can be done to start Win7.

You said you formatted the HD which means any data would have been overwritten and would only be available using a recovery method like Recuva - Features. Is that what you did? Did you format the partition which has the data you needed to save?

If you had a Dual Boot menu after reinstall then it might mean that the old Win7 wasn't really formatted and can be accessed via Explorer if it has a drive letter - even if you removed it from Dual Boot in msconfig>Boot. This would not delete any partitions.

Perhaps best is that you immediately post back a screenshot of Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image - Windows 7 Help Forums exactly as instructed how to do in the blue link. If you can't boot Win7 then use Partition Wizard bootable CD, boot it and take a camera snap of the drive map and listings so we can see everything, attach the image using paper clip in reply box. If when you make this screenshot you see that there are partitions, keep in mind you can rightclick each to Explore for your data in either Disk Mgmt or Partition Wizard.
