Inbuilt mouse not responding.

Hello. Not sure if this is the right place to thread it but.. anyways..

My mouse pad isnt working!! But when I plug in a USB mouse works fine.. and when i take it out the mouse freeze. My brother has the exact same laptop.. and the same problem too! Both of our mouses stopped working at the same time.. with the time distance of 1 day..

are you sure i need to update it? Cause i've had it for around 3 months now and it was working fine..
