Solved Include programs in "Recent Items." Possible?

Back in the old days of Win98, a software entitled RdocEx could add the names of the programs you executed to "Start -> Documents", so that it could be convenient to execute the same programs again.

Nowdays, is there similarly a software/method/hack to include programs, along wth documents, in the "Recent Items" list?

Right-click on rb: | Properties | Start Menu tab |checkmark desired Items |OK your way out.

I must have inadvertently un-checked "Store and dispaly recently opened programs in the Start menu," and forgot about it.
