Solved Inexpensive graphics cards to update Intel G33 express chipset?

Hi, i have an HP computer that came with a intel chipset. Being a gamer it is hard to be able to do anything with a directX 9 and openGL 2.0 card. Also, my mother board and shell are fairly bad so it has to be able to fit into the motherboard.

I was thinking about the ASUS EAH6450 Silent/DI/1GD3(LP) Radeon HD 6450 1GB 64-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP but i just dont know if it will fit or not, because that has happened before. Any ideas?

Do you think the card could run dual monitors?

According to Newegg it has a DVI port, a VGA port and an HDMI port, should be able to run 2 monitors. Their reference to a 300W Power Supply is interesting, I'd think something more like a 450W Power Supply would be better.

I normally use Sapphire brand cards in my builds, haven't had a problem yet. ATI [now owned by AMD] sells the chips to various vendors to implement as they see fit, may be some small differences between them, for example this one is fanless but others will have fans on the card.

I am just interested in this card because i found a used for 30$ which is a pretty good find. This is temporarily for like a year so i can just run basic games like medal of honor and not have laggy l4d2. Because in about a year i am going to build a pc.

But looking at the card an extra 10$ isnt that big of a deal at all. Yet i cant seem to find specs on the card, do you know the openGl version and directX version that card uses. And the shader.

And i found a used one for 34$. Thanks man, you helped me out. I've been with this intel G33 for a LONG time and it has been awful, my old gaming comp that i build broke down and i feel is a bit too out of date to fix. So thanks, i will get this this weekend

I have a Dell Inspiron 530s with the Intel G33 Chipset, with a GM3302 Foxconn Motherboard.

I am using a ATI Radeon HD 5450 1GB GPU. I think I paid about $40 or so.

I'd try with a bit higher try either HD 5570 or HD 6570 because it can run with any 250W power supply.
