Inprivate browsing IE10/11
Hi guys
For some reason a couple of sites (or more specifically my routers web browser UI and one of my NAS drives web UI) don't play nice under IE10 or 11. They were fine in ie9 but these so called 'improved' versions cause intermittent delays and responsiveness issues. Running all types of compatibility modes does not fix, neither does disabling all add ons.
Strangely they work perfectly under inprivate browsing mode. Now I know it's easy to add a pinned / shortcut that opens straight into inprivate. But what I would prefer is being able to say launch IE normally but if I go to the favourites/bookmarks these specific URLs for the troublesome sites/devices open inprivate every time I click them even from within an active normal IE window. Kind of hard to explain. I just want to create a kind of seamless environment. So when editing the properties on a favourite could I add something like
www.routerlogin.net -private
Is this even possible?
Cheers
Wayne

Hello.. I hardly ever use IE myself.. I prefer Firefox or Pale Moon.. and i have lots of add ons to work with.. I only use IE for MS updates.. Have you considered not using IE as default browser ?

I am one of those nerds who likes everything to work regardless of whether I use it. But your advice is sound, I started Firefox and then chrome and updated them all. It works perfect on these browsers and so much better than IE. Why do MS have to be so unconventional and different ? I am still curious to see if my query on in private specific URLs is possible though.
