Solved Inserting headings into a word document.

I used to be able to insert a heading into the "Navigation" column or pane by highlighting the title and then clicking onto an example from the style column on the right but obviously I am not doing correctly because it I sent working so could someone please advise.

Is there anything in these MS websites that would help you. You have not mentioned what version of Word you are using.

Iv'e cracked it. I had forgotten that I needed to place the title of the paragraph I wanted to save as a title on top of the paragraph, sellect is then press the item on the list of options and it then finished up in the Navigation column. so many thaks.
