I have a HDD which is partitioned into 2 drives. I have vista installed on HD 1 and W7 on HD 2. I want to remove vista and install a fresh copy of W7 on HD 1 and keep the other install of W7 on HD 2.

Is this posible and would it mess up the boot configuration with having 2 copy's of W7?

Thanks

It is definatly possible. No problem w 2 or more win 7 build on the same machine or even the same drive. Do you want to upgrade from vista or install a clean win 7 (preferibly). When you boot from the win 7 dvd it will ask you if you want to upgrade or do custom install and which drive/partition do you wan it to be done on.
You might want to check the tutorial section Im sure there is something there about this very subject

Hope this helped
