Install hangs at final restart

Hello all

My first thread, yay!!

During installation of windows 7 the setup goes smoothly until the final restart "set up will continue after computer restart" and at that point it just hangs.

I got around this by a hard reset and the rest of the install went through fine. My question is, is this a problem or will this cause a future issue?

Everything is/seems to be working fine at the mo.

Some computers take longer than others depending on the hardware involved.

Hi Roysie2009 and welcome to the forums!

Its really hard to say whether or not you will encounter future problems, but one thing you can do is enter event viewer in the search bar then hit return.. go to to Windows Logs/Applications and see if there are any critical errors (red circle with white exclaimation point). If there are post them here with a screenshot...Hope this helps...
