Install HP tablet driver on Windows 7 x64

Hello all,

I'm having problems installing my HP Slate 10 HD tablet on my Windows 7 x64 machine.
Firstly I attached the tablet to a USB port of my machine but it wasn't recognized.
Then went for Updating the Driver Software from the Computer Management section. Online searching to update/install the driver ended up in failure either!

I also tried HP Support page to download the driver. But it once again was not installed!

What is the problem please?
What can I do to install the proper driver and connect the tablet to my Windows machine?

Are you sure you are using the correct cable? Some are charge only.

Thanks. The problem was with the cable.
Now solved.

Thanks. Now I can see my tablet on Windows and access it:



But still it's not connected to the IDE I'm programming on!

And here's my Device Manager:



Why is there a yellow mark under Other Devices, please? Is it not the problem?

And as for the link you offered, I don't have a file named "android_winusb.ini" on my Windows.

I don't have a tablet. However, for android phones, the purpose of connecting is to access it from windows.
Are you able to do that?
