install msi with admin permission

how to do this?

it tells me i dont have permission to write to msvp80.dll

Really it should've asked you for permission. but if it doesn't, try right-click on the msi file and go "Run as administrator"

All of my systems still run fastest on XP 32-bit for the most part. Win7 is fun to play with, but I still prefer XP for raw speed, security, and functionality.
And if you are not the administrator just a limited user,I have a tool which gives you ownership(rights and permission to modify the file) of any file(you don`t have to be an administrator).

If you need that tool make me know...:)

Just as septprince suggested, you can take ownership of any file with this tool. Even when your an Admin and you right click on that file and choose "run as administrator" and it still doesn't work, using this tool will work, no matter what. Very easy to install and use. seriously....:sarc:

hold shift and then right click. the 'Run as' should be there.. if its not then you probly have UAC turned off..

Just click the exe add the msi and click Take control button. Come on trust me.
