Install on External drive

Is there any way to install Windows 7 to my Seagate FreeAgent Desk 1.5 TB (Partitioned to install on a 100 GB partition)

I booted into the installation and it said i cant install it to a USB or firewire port.

So is there any way? (Do not tell me to use the portable VirtualBox)

Use an adapter to connect 2.5 HD contained in external shell into mobo port.

Even if you can find a way to get it installed to USB HD, it is too slow to be useful.

Well i just want to use it to create an install DVD, with all my programs pre-installed using audit mode. and what is a mobo port?
