Solved Install on New PC

I have an old Win 7 PC that is starting to give me problems. Example: recently the case fan quit and I have one on order. I have cleaned inside case as best I can with an air can and static free cloth.

If I were to build another PC, can I install Windows 7 and expect it to work reasonably well. I know it will probably not update. So will it work??

As 7 is long out of support a lot of hardware isnt having drivers written for it so you would have to check everything before buying to see if there are drivers and you may have to buy a new 7 licence

Right now I am just trying to keep the Windows 7 PC I have going. Right now I am waiting for a case fan for it and that seems to be taking forever. Ordered thru a local PC repair shop

Whether it is feasible to install win7 depends mainly on the motherboard you choose.

If you are still using the ancient Duel CPU E2200, anything more recent will be in a different league.

TrueBlue MS DVD packages have licenses and/or product keys, I already knew that answer :)
I merely wanted to know if most if not all OEM DVD packages have their kind of licenses and/or product keys.

Yes, they come with the boxed system builder dvds.
