Install Outlook 2007 on new computer - question

It has been several years since I installed MS Outlook as my email client and I've forgotten just what information is required to set up an account. Could someone suggest the information needed from my ISP before I begin the software reinstall on my new computer?

If I copy over my .PST and .NK2 files, once I've installed the software, will this be sufficient to allow Outlook to work on the new computer or must I go through setting up the email account again?

Just to be on the safe side it would be a good idea to write down all the details of your email account/s, such as what the settings are for each one.

You can export the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\Outlook on the old machine and import on new. This will bring over your account settings minus the password for each.
