Hi .... I don't want to change the "language" of the keyboard, just the keyboard itself. I wanted to install the French Canadian keyboard (Backlit) .. So, I did
it's easy ... and. it works .. sort of.
The problem is that while most of the keys work as they should (letters. lower and upper), many of them bring up the wrong images, or none at all.
The PC thinks (Control Panel/keyboard) thinks it has a StandardPS/2 keyboard... which it now doesn't.
There's a lot of useless information on the web about additional software (3rd party) and everyone always talks about changing the "language" of their installed keyboard ... How about the just chanhe the keyboard.. and just print the stuff that's on the keys ..DUH!
