Trying to use my new SSD. I have used burnin test to see if the drive had any thing wrong.

Install fails after 1st reboot. "Windows failed to load because the system registry file is missing, or corrupt." status: 0xc00000e9

I have tried installing the same DVD on a 2nd partition on the HDD. That works.

I have tried cloning the install on the 2nd partition of the HDD to the SSD.
I have tried starting the install from windows. I have tried different DVD's and both pro and home.

In my mind the only thing it could be would be the SSD is bad, but the burn in test showed it was fine.
Every install is the same error. I have wasted ~10 DVD's trying to find anything else.
Any ideas?

EDIT: I have tried system repair on the pre-install part, just says it can't fix it.

Unplug all other HD's and peripherals. Plug SSD into SATA1 port.

Wipe the SSD with Diskpart Clean Command from DVD accessing DISKPART At PC Startup.

Next reset BIOS to defaults, set SATA controller to AHCI to try install, then IDE if necessary.

Try plugging SSD into another port.

As a last resort I'd extract the DVD ISO with ImgBurn then write to flash stick using http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/Windows 7 USB-DVD Download Tool or UltraISO Trial. Boot using one-time BIOS Boot Menu key under Removable, USB, or HD's. Set HD first ot boot in BIOS setup.

If these fail, contact tech support for the new SSD to have them help you determine if it needs RMA.
