1) Downgrade to Windows 7.
Downgrade Windows 8 to Windows 7
Warning you must have the UEFI/BIOS firmware setting in Step Three set.

2) If Using a USB Pen drive on a PC with a UEFI BIOS.
USB Pen drive need to be formatted to FAT32 as in
UEFI Bootable USB Flash Drive - Create in Windows
Take note of Step 11 for Windows 7.
Also you will need to use a USB 2.0 port, as there are no USB 3.0 drivers in Windows 7.

Let us know how it goes. Another method to copy out your data from the HD is by booting Paragon Rescue Kit Free Edition Free Download.

Once you've done that delete all partitions during install as shown in http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...e-firmware-interface-install-windows-7-a.html.

Make sure you've also disabled Secure Boot in BIOS setup.

If you have problems with UEFI install then you can consider Bypassing UEFI to Install WIn7 http://downultralounge.com/http://www.sevenforums.com/installa...reinstalled-windows-8-laptop.html#post2178898

When i tried to copy & paste data through repair screen it says when i click on repair "This version of System Recovery Options is not compatible with the version of windows you are trying to repair. Try using a recovery disc that is compatible with this version of windows."
