Install Windows 7 on CPU = 2.80/1 GHz! RAM = 1.50 GB

I want to install Windows 7 on these computer data:

CPU = 2.80/1 GHz
RAM = 1.50 GB
Hard Disc = 150 GB

If according to these data, It's possible to install Windows 7 on my computer?!

That looks OK but what graphics card have you got, here are the minimum specs stated by Microsoft.

  • 16 GB of available disk space
  • Support for DirectX 9 graphics with 128 MB memory (in order to enable Aero theme)
  • DVD-R/W Drive
  • Internet access (to download the Beta and get updates)

Even with an old adapter, but you will loose the W7 Graphics Experience.

I'm running Win7 on an old laptop with a 1.5Ghz Pentium M processor and 1.5GB RAM. It runs better with 7 than it did with XP Pro. As mentioned, you won't be able to use Aero but the operating system still works great.

My Laptop is over 2 years old & works perfectly well with W7 & Aero.
