I had windows 7 installed on my laptop. I got an alert saying there was a virus on my laptop so my partner took it to his friend who deleted our windows 7 and installed a replica! I dont want this on my laptop as it keeps flagging up it isnt a genuine windows 7. Is there anyway I can get back the windows 7 originally on the laptop?

Go to the manufacturers web site. Click on support. Look for your model and see if you can find "recovery options". It will tell you how to restore your laptop back to factory condition.

Try tapping the F8 key at bootup, on Advanced Boot Tools menu select Repair My Computer.

See if Factory Recovery option still exists.

If not, go to Sony Support Downloads website for your country, read the Manual for your model to see how Factory Recovery from HD is done. You can also order Disks there if you don't have them, although they will contain all the sponsored bloatware which comes pre-installed.

if you have access to a Win7 installer and want a superior clean reinstall using Product key on your COA sticker, follow these steps: http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/125874-re-install-windows-7-a.html#post1086729
