Hi i finished doing my third format on my windows 7 based desktop.
Unfortunately it does not install a french version of Win7 although i choose for all settings french and france....I have being doing the format triggered by the alt + F10
a few times. But still my desktop after installation ends up in Dutch. (bought the desktop in the Netherlands...)
This is so hard pissing me off. I did several formats in Xp and i could switch languages always but in Windows 7 (home premium) this doesn t seem possible.
AGAIN i changed all my language settings....location - keyboards and all the others....
Is there anybody got any idea how i can install Win 7 in the language i want?

thank you very much guys and girls

You are trying to achieve something that is simply impossible.

If you bought your computer in the Netherlands, it came with Dutch Windows. Changing the location and keyboard layout or other settings does not change the language of the operating system.

From your system specs I can see you have Seven Home Premium. There's nothing you can do, other than to buy a French Seven and install it. Only Seven Ultimate and Enterprise editions have the option to change the language of Windows by installing a language pack.

Well i think there is. if you do all the up dates. you can select a new ''laungage addon'' thing, it will not fully translate everything, but will bet the basic level in what ever language you choose

heres a link : Windows 7 language packs are available for computers that are running Windows 7 Ultimate or Windows 7 Enterprise Hope it helps.

Please read my post once again, especially the last sentence.

As I told the OP, there's nothing he / she can do. If he / she has Windows 7 Ultimate or Enterprise, he / she can change the language of Windows 7 completely, not only basic level as you mentioned.
