Hello,
I have some problems with installing Windows 7. I tried to install 4 different versions and I had same problems with all of them on two different hard drives.
I tried to install it on partition D, created from Windows XP install setup, formated in NTFS.
When I boot DVD, after the part when Windows are loading files, nothing happened. There is no window with language options, but I can see background and I have control over my mouse.
If I try to install 7 from Windows XP, everything goes fine until last restart, after that I cant boot 7 or XP any more and I have to fix mbr and boot so I can boot XP.
I hope someone can help me and thank you in advance.

Thank you for answer, but it didnt help. I know most of these things, I have dual boot with XP and Ubuntu and I had Vista at some time.
I just tried to install it again, this time on clean disk with no partition and I had same problem as I mentioned above-after loading files there is no language setup window. And I installed same release on laptop and it works fine.

Check your BIOS and see if the legacy USB is enabled... if so, disable it and try again. Legacy USB can interfere with installation, even if CD/DVD is set first in the boot device list.

(I'm not sure if this will work with USB keyboards/mice... they may need to be PS/2... but those adapters are ubiquitous.)

No, you will need a keyboard PS2 connect!
The bios will be inaccessible with wireless.
The mouse will work.

Which system did you make the iso on?
I had similar issues when I made the iso on an xp 64.
I tried a new iso image on a xp 32 machine and slowed the burn way down and successfully installed the new image on the original 64 bit machine.

I burned it on XP 32.
Last time I waited few minutes after loading files and language setup window showed up, but windows didnt boot. I tried to fix startup but I get an error saying that I'm not using same version. I also installed Ubuntu so I could use its boot manager, but after choosing to boot 7 my PC restarted.
After that I tried to install it on other PC with similar motherboard (DFI LanParty DK M2RS) and I have same problem so I believe that there is a problem with chipset or SATA/ATA controler. Both motherboards have latest BIOS.

EDIT: I just successfully installed it on one more laptop and it works perfect.

From a previous post, you will need a ps2 keyboard so that you can change the boot priority in bios to the cd/dvd as your first boot drive.
Unpack the iso and do a clean install on the hd.
Let us know how it goes.
