I am having a lot of trouble with installations lately. Several programs, particulary Diskeeper and VLC player keep giving me messages that I (set up as administrator) do not have permission to change files in a folder. The folder is in Program Files for Diskeeeper and in Program Files (x86) for VLC. I have studied several articles on permissions and tried the Run as Administrator switch but nothing seems to work. I would appreciate any help anyone has with this issue. Thanks in advance.
