installation problems

hi, im having problems installing windows 7 on a fresh, formatted drive, it keeps telling me i dont have enough space to install windows seven on the drive, but its a 500gb HITACHI deskstar

1) Boot DVD, & Press Shift+F10 (for command prompt)

Type in command line
If you have no partitions on your HD.
DISKPART
LIST DISK
SELECT DISK # (win HD)

FORMAT fs=NTFS
ASSIGN
EXIT
EXIT
