Hello,

I have a question, just out of curiosity. I know how can I use a USB drive for installation of windows 7, but I have a portable western digital hard disk of 160 GB.

Can I partition this hard disk to create a 4 GB partition and use that partition for installation of windows 7? If yes then how can I do it?

Thanks,
Alex

Hello!

I am sorry, it is currently impossible to install from an external hard drive. I don't know, maybe if you stuck all the files on it, and ran setup.exe from within Windows, it would work, but you cannot boot from it.
