Installed 7 on same partition as XP unable to boot the former

Hi there,

I've been trying for a couple of hours and can't seem to find a solution.

Now, I've installed Win 7 (Professional) on the same as XP is installed. When I try to boot from HDD, I only get the XP entries, but can only boot Win7 through.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Okay then. Nevermind. I installed the bootloader on a different partition and set the bios to boot from that partition. works now.

Please post back a screenshot of your full Disk Management drive map with listings, using Snipping Tool in Start Menu, so we can see if you have potential problems.

Do you want a Dual Boot with XP? There should be no need to move the boot loader or set BIOS to boot from another partition unless you have installed Win7 to another HD than XP.
