Solved Installed SSD, WEI didn't budge and can't open in 'computer'.

What happened?

I haven't really had the time to try anything as my wife is using this computer for her school work. I try to change the boot order(again, I did it after Paragon), but now the SSD doesn't even appear in the boot devices. I'll try the whole process again, inclusive of the info. you guys have given so far. Will get back, probably tomorrow(9/12)

Does it show up in your OS? If not, Go to disk management and see if it shows up there. Make sure all cables are properly connected to the drive and motherboard. Connect the SSD to port 0. Open an elevated command prompt (start- type cmd in the search box- right click and select run as administrator) in the box that opens, type diskpart then press enter, when the prompt responds with diskpart, type list disk and press enter, see if your SSD shows up there. You should recognize it by the size, it should say 111 GB. and should be listed as disk 0. Type exit then enter twice to exit. If it has lost it's drive letter, it will not show up in computer, but should in disk management or diskpart. You can give it a drive letter in disk management by right clicking the drive and selecting change drive letter or path, then click add. You can do the same in diskpart, by after you have done as above, type select disk 0 (or whatever number your SSD is) then type assign. Let us know how it goes.

Again, I would highly recommend unplugging ALL the other drives and boot up with JUST the SSD hooked up to make sure it works. Then add in the other drives.

Success!

Well, since I had never done all of this before I had no idea what I was looking for especially in using Paragon. I got so frustrated trying everything. I finally tried to format the SSD and it wouldn't perform it. I said screw it, I'll re-do Paragon. This time I saw things I had never seen the first time I did it. It worked great this time. Windows booted in 14 seconds. I really appreciate everyone's input. I guess I inadvertently led all astray because I didn't know that Paragon hadn't worked correctly the first time, for whatever the reason...probably me! But I do so appreciate everyone's help.

Yep, that makes sense. I don't know the exact issue, but it sounds like it setup the SSD wrong for boot up and/or messed up the restore.
Either way, glad to hear it's working. Enjoy the epic speed on that SSD, I love mine.

Congratulations on getting it set up. With Paragon, just read the options carefully. It will work every time. Congratulations again.

You might want to check if the migration took allowed TRIM to be activated on the SSD as well. If it was me, I'd back up my data, and spend the two hours doing a complete fresh install on the SSD with AHCI enabled from the start, just to make sure.
