Installed Win 7 and getting BSOD

I've been getting "irql not less or equal" BSOD ever since I installed Windows 7
This has been happening as soon as the install is complete but also when I updated all the drivers.
I have installed the latest chipset,gfx,onboard audio/lan drivers and the problem persists.

Added 2 *.dmp files from the BSOD I got today.
Any help is appreciated.

Virtual CD program such as Deamon tool or Alcohol 120% are known for causing BSODs. Please remove it quickly as possible. Then use this tool to remove sptd.sys, which is component of those that can't be remove simply.

What third party antivirus are you using?

It would be best if you can provide us more information about your machine in detail in the system spec section of your profile. Also, make sure that the devices that you are installing driver are compatible with win7 and the device itself is certified for window 7.

I fixed the BSOD errors. After running memtest, there was 1 broken.
However, I'm still experiencing problems with windows 7.

This time I have experienced a complete freeze of windows and a random reboot. No BSOD, no dmp files.

After the computer freezes, I reinstalled windows 7 (again) and the random reboot came.
This hasn't been a constant issue. It doesn't happen every half hour sort of speak. The computer can be fine. I can play games at high resolution etc.
Next thing when just looking at my desktop, the pc reboots.

Some details:
I ran memtest all night to check if my other RAM were working fine, and I had 10 passes and no errors.
Before all these problems started I was running Windows XP without a problem. I changed my GFX card from an Nvidia EN7800GTX to ATI HD5870 and XP -> Win 7.
Then I started having these problems.

My computer details:
Windows 7 64bit OS
Intel QX9770 3.20Ghz CPU
OCZ PC3 12800 1GBx3 RAM
EAH5870/2DIS/1GD5/V2 GFX
GIGABYTE GA-X48T-DQ Mainboard
750W Toughpower Termaltake PSU
Samsung HD103SJ 1TB

Nothing is overclocked. Nothing is overheating. Problems with fresh install and gaming ready setup.
Unsure where to go from this since I can't find an error log from the reboots, unless I'm unaware of a potential way.

Any advice is welcome

So you done memtest with your 3 stick of ram and one of them fail the test? Have you tried to run your system without that stick of ram. When you run the memtest, make sure that your check the motherboard slot too. You can do that by choose a good ram stick and test it on different slots. It might be time-consuming but worth to do.
Also, are you sure that your system support the ATi graphic card when you bought it? You might want to run this free video stress test:

I originally had 4 sticks of RAM, the one that was broken was taken out.
I tested the motherboard slots individuallyl with one stick each. Which all resulted into passes.

I have also swapped my graphics card back to my old Nvidia today and I had a reboot of Win 7.

I have to add that the reboots seems to be more frequent when I install a game or watch a video on the web.

Can you tell me the result from the System file check please?
I'm not sure but I doubt there is compatibility issue between window 64 bit and your system or may be due to some piece of hardware. Did you run window xp ok on your system before?

Sounds like RAM could be the problem. It is not good to run mismatched RAM modules. I recommend removing the 3rd stick of RAM and see if the problem goes away.

The system scan was positive.

I took out my RAM and noticed 2 OCZ pieces are saying PC3 1280 and 1 is saying PC3 12800

I'll take out the 1 stick of 12800 and see if it's indeed a mismatched issue.
I used to run Win XP with 2x1gb of PC3 12800.
It wasn't until recently I added 1 additional stick to Windows xp and later 2 for Win7. Perhaps Win 7 is more sensitive to mismatched RAM? It's weird Win XP was running fine with this setup but Win 7 isn't.

I will keep the thread updated with the positive or negative result.
