I've installed Windows 7 Ultimate, Profession, and Home Premium both in 32 and 64bit flavors on 40 machines over the past 21 months and none have had any issues or blue screen errors.
Am I just lucky?
My main rig has been running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit 24 hours a day 7 days a week since August of 2009 and have no issues.

I just find it strange that I see so many BSOD threads on this forum and I can't recall ever having a BSOD on any of the machines I built or installed Win 7 on.

I've personally not seen one either on Win7. A few people at work have and they use images that I prepare for them on the exact same hardware that I use. So, I think it's often a combination of what they install onto the machine, drivers they update, etc.

I haven't gotten one single BSOD or been able to get Windows 7 to lock up on me since retail release, and this was me just literally beating the crap out of my machine.

Case in point [see signature].

Well the issue with groups like this is that people come here with problems for the most part. If the other 99% of people that never had a B.S. in their lives came and posted here it would be a massive flood :D

In other words, people rarely post out of the blue that "Everything is fine!".

If you look at Mac and Linux help groups you see the same thing (Even though those two OSes are "Compeltely perfect and never have any problems like Windows") :D

So many things can affect whether one gets a BSOD (or many). Like overclocking, installing and un-installing tons of apps, bad AV apps, no maintenance, etc.

You may just be taking better care of the network than most average home users.

You may have jinxed yourself by asking. If so at least you know where you can get them diagnosed.
