Installing 7 to Scaleo E

Hi!

Im thinking about installing W7 to my Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo E -HTPC.

It has 3ghz pentium, 250gb HD, dvd-rw, 2gb ram, gforce 6600 with dvi. I am using my Thomson 32" lcd-tv as a monitor.

Just asking if this setup is capable to run windows 7. I know its speedy enough (my aspire one has W7 installed on it) but is the installation going to be problem? I read somewhere that vista was hard-one for this

Sorry, can't do that.. Runnin Ubuntu 10.10 at my scaleo...

But anyway, who makes me not to try right??!! I am sure that its capable of running it smoothly, just woondering the installation-issues. Someone said that the bios might not accept it (few years old machine though).

You will need to use a monitor, not your TV.
The Hd will need to be cleaned.

All Linux code must be deleted.As you have had linux on the HD you need do a Clean all & full format.
Do a full clean & full format in command prompt.
1) Boot DVD & Press Shift+F10 (for command prompt)

Type in command line
DISKPART
LIST DISK
SELECT DISK # (win HD)
CLEAN ALL
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
SELECT PARTITION 1
ACTIVE

EXIT

HI there, i just installed win7 on a Scaleo E HTPC and i´m experiencing problems with the soundcard driver not working hooked up to a 720p LCD tv it shows like a 1-2cm of the picture outside on each side ov the monitor.

Are there any drivers? I downloaded the vista drivers from their website but couldnt find a way of installing it without using the device manager which failed to install giving the same error code 10 as before,

Yeah that's the way i did it, so i guess that means no win7 on the SCALEO E ?
