OK, I'm about to make BitLocker functional again on my PC.

I have Win7 Ultimate, a new [Now 4 yrs old] ASUS mother board and the same Infineon TPM card used on the earlier BitLocker/MoBo install.
I did not use the Infineon software for the prior install, but am trying to do so now.
I had implemented the earlier install through the Control Pannel.

While using the Infineon Software wizard, I am prompted for a user password.
It wants either the pass to be typed in or to be pointed to a PW backup file.
I try to offer up a new PW.
It will not accept a new PW.
I'm thinking the Infineon card has a PW from the old install in it, and wants that.
I have nothing left from the older install.
If I'm right, how do I reinitialize the TPM card to get me back to square 1?

If I'm wrong, what am I doing wrong?

EDIT:I went into the BIOS and mad a TPM Clear operation.
Saved and exited with no apparent effect on restart.
Should I make other changes in the BIOS, or elsewhere?

OK, got it figured out.
Ran tpm.msc and reset the TPM during a reboot. Then entered a new Owner Password. It was accepted. The rest of the process should go smoothly. If not, I'll be back.
