Hi,
Being new on the forum, I'm not sure this is the good place to post this thread. Sorry if it isn't.
I've just downloaded Lightroom 5 64-bit (Student and Teacher Edition) from Adobe's DL site and I'm having this error message when trying to install it :
"An error occurred during the installation of assembly component
{6435B7C0-E0C8-3EA2-91AE-7640034EAFCE}. HRESULT: 0x8007370B"
The detail of my system is in My profile/System Spec. I have read a thread quite close to my own problem (same message but about an update issue - which by the way I also experience*) but you insist rightly on the potential risk(s) run when transposing someone else's problem to oneself without minimum precautions.
Thanks very much for your invaluable help.

* KB2556532 and KB2639308 are DLed and installed all right but never recognized as such later on - a common problem, it seems.

After reading other posts, I solved the problem by downloading the SURT Tool (Windows6.1-KB947821-v28-x64) which apparently allowed my system to go back to normal. I was then able to install LR5 without any trouble.
Thanks anyway.
