Installing Microsoft Helena TTS

Hello.

I am trying to install the Windows 8 spanish voice in my Windows 7.
So far I have installed the Speech Platform (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=27225) both x64 and x86, but I can't install the voice of Helena (Download Microsoft Speech Platform - Runtime Languages (Version 11) from Official Microsoft Download Center) in my system. I have downloaded the installer and when I click it, the setup appears with a bar checking something but instantly closes. Any help on this? Does it matter my Windows its in english and the voice is spanish?

it may well be an issue with the region of your system, but it is most likely to be cross-compatibility (you are attempting to install a win 8 voice on win 7) do you have a windows 8 computer that you can try the instaler on, if you do, run the intaller and if it works it is a compatibility issue.

Thanks for replying.
In system requirements, in the Microsoft page, it says this:

Supported Operating System
Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista


Which makes sense, because these voices are already installed in W8, therefore no need to provide download.
I will take that it conflicting with either my language or another software, and I will keep researching.

ok, it is probably a regional issue, try changing your PC language to spanish and then retry the installation.
