Installing .NET Framwork

I just tried to install Screenpresso on my new Win7 laptop but the process said I needed to install .NET Framework. I went to the web but can't figure out which of the several versions I should download.

Would someone please tell be which one I should choose. Also which would be best -- the web or offline one.

Is the program you're talking about this one?

If so, its website says it needs .net framework 4 or higher. At the time of writing this the latest version is the 4.6.1 (compatible with 4), so get that one. Its download link is this:

I always prefer the full, offline installer of everything. It allows to install multiple times without re-downloading the whole thing over and over, and you have a full installer that you can backup for latter use.
