installing off USB, bootmgr missing?

Hi, I am trying to install windows 7 off of my usb harddrive and I get a "bootmgr is missing, press ctrl+alt+del to restart", it works on any other computer but the one I am trying with... I have tried formatting and running bootsect.exe again to no avail

The method which always works for me is to install UltraISO trial version, on File Tab Open ISO, on Bootable tab Write Disk Image, Format, Write.

Boot under USB or HD's using one-time BIOS Boot Menu key.

Do you have your BIOS set to USB boot?

How did you prepare the drive? This method works for me:

Also, make sure you use a pristine win7 dvd to prepare the usb drive, not a lited or modded version.
