Solved Installing programs slow?

Heys guys,

I dont know if this is in the right sections or not, but ever since i reinstalled windows, all the programs i install are installing soooo slow! i don't know why, because befroe i reinstalled it everything was running fine!,

i dont wanna reinstall it again because i really cbf, backing up anything and installing anything again! haha,

any help?

Have you installed any Antivirus program? Try disabling it and then install any software and check if the issue persists.

Yeah, i have AVG, but even before i got that i had the problem.

Uninstall the AVG bloatware and install recommended Microsoft Security Essentials.

Turn on the Windows Firewall and keep it updated automatically with all Important and Optional Updates.

Did you follow the Best Practices for reinstall in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which are the same for retail?

Work through these Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7.
