Installing Win7 on Dell Insprion Running Ubuntu

I've got a two year old Dell Inspirion that came with Win10. I installed ubuntu 100%.

I recently bought a new Win Pro 7 SP1 X64 English 1PK DSP OEI DVD.

What I want to do with the Dell is install Win7 without ubuntu.

Apparently? ubuntu cannot read the DVD info, what do I do?

You installed ubuntu. You must know how to boot from dvd.

First, we need to know the hardware specs of the Dell Inspirion. CPU, GPU, chipset and storage.

Modern hardware requires some drivers (SATA, USB3.x, NVMe) that are not on the Win 7 installation drive. You have to add those drivers to the installation drive or you won't have mouse and keyboard and won't be able to see the target drive.

Ubuntu isn't able to read the DVD. For ubuntu they have an extensive step by step, I made a bootable stick, and copied the image to it.

Please advise us what the exact 7-character "service tag" number on your Dell Inspiron is so we can determine what hardware it came with and what model number it is.

Basically you want to install win 7 on Dell Inspiron; Ubuntu will be erased so is not part of the issue.
I think you need to load the BIOS menu and change some values in there to be able to start Windows 7 installer.
If you don't have a DVD player, you can make an ISO image and then put it on a USB stick (can do that with YUMI or other similar softwares)
