Installing Windows 7 via Parallels on Imac

After installing Windows 7 via Paralles on iMac, windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter. I can not access the internet. Does anyone know if I am to install the adapter using my Mac OS software disk? I called Paralles and they refused to help me. I called Apple, and they refused to help me since I am not running Bootcamp. Has anyone had this problem? How did you resolve it? Thank you!

I got the fix, so I will post it. I was advised to install Parallels Tools using Safari from my Mac and before starting the install log into Windows from Parallels. Everything went smooth, and I now have sound and can get to the internet via IE and Windows. YEA!! P.S. I paid $18 bucks to get that answer from another tech! It was worth it! I have been sitting around for hours trying to get this working! LOL Not funny.
