Installing Windows 7

Today I received notice from Microsoft saying that the W7 disc I purchased from them will arrive shortly.

I never made a complete system installation so my question is, which is the preferred method, online or offline.

You must know somebody, cause general availability isnt until 10/22.. it doesnt matter whether you are connected or not ....
