Insufficient Playback Devices?? Win7 Ultimate 32bit

I recently reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit

Well, I have no sound, at all, and I believe it is because of my playback devices. My Mic works (Its part of my headphones) and I think that is because It has the sufficient playback devices.

As for my audio, out of any headphones I use I have no sound, at all. I have ruled out my drivers because I believe they are all working fine. What I haven't checked is my sound card. I will if recommended to.

Here is a screenshot of both headphones and microphone.
I don't think there is the right playback devices for my headphones. On any other computers I have checked they have at least 3 playback devices and at least 1 of those has the 3.5mil jacks I wish to use.

Any help will be appreciated.

Can't tell you what you need as you haven't filled out your specs, but you need to install the drivers for the sound card. At the moment it is running on the default (and very limited and basic) driver that Windows installs, as shown by it being listed as a "high definition audio device". Once the correct drivers are installed that will change to the name of the sound card, and then your sound will work as it should.

According to the screenshot you posted, it appears your system doesn't think it has a speaker/headphone output, the S/PDIF output that is selected as the default is not a high level output that could drive a set of headphones. Are you sure you have the headphones plugged in to the correct jack?

You may have a hardware issue but I would definitely pursue new drivers for your soundcard. What is the make/model of your soundcard?

@strollin, I have tried 3 different headphones, both in the front 3.5 port and the back 3.5 port, none out of the 6 tests had any sound at all.

Not enough info there. What is the exact make and model number of the computer?

Not exactly sure what you mean there, I have a desktop, Custom made with all different parts a few years ago... What other information do you need?

Make and model of the motherboard would be a start then. If Everest can't determine what the make and model of the motherboard is, it is doubtful that anything else will either. About the only thing that could be taken as a given is that it is an Intel basd motherboard. Time to pop the case open and make note of the make and model number stamped on the motherboard.

Also, the win7 disk I used to install windows was not mine. Nor did I buy it. A friend let me borrow a burnt copy of his windows 7.... Damn I should of known it was pirated :/
Will that effect anything such as sound?

It can, will, and did in your case. It is one thing to use a borrowed disk when you have a legit key to use Windows, it is another to borrow and use a pirated copy. For starters with the disk you borrowed who knows what has been done to it.

Until you get a legit copy of Windows, sorry to say but you are on your own for figuring out what you need to get it running.

I have fixed my problem, I went on the Asus site, searched my motherboard, downloaded audio driver.
