Looks like speculation or the info is starting to leak.

IDF 2010: Bigger and better SSDs soon

September 19, 2010

IT HAD TO happen sooner or later, Intel is starting to put out 25nm flash chips. At IDF last week, prototype chips were spotted on a prototype drive with a prototype Sandforce SSD controller.

Lots of prototypes in one box

Not much more to say about the drive or the controller as the good folk at Sandforce would only smile when asked about it. In any case, it won't be long before we see another big bump in SSD capacities, speed, and capabilities hit the market. Enjoy.

Also saw a German site claiming to have X 25-V in 80GB and 160GB.

Looked suspeciously like X25-M G2, same price, same read/write speed.

A Swedish site says they won't come out until Feb '11.

Intel pushes for 25nm SSDs for February 2011

Intel's G3 series of SSDs[/B] , which will not be expected on the market until February next year, said, however, have significantly higher performance than today's generation. Something which, according to our sources remained high on the priority list of Intel. With a still competitive performance in most of the sounds on this course, positive, and that we should not see the same problems with accessibility at the last launch.

Sorry, we therefore hold out any longer before Intel releasing their new units and we hope until the launch may know a little more detailed information about the performance and specifications.

It may also be worth mentioning that other manufacturers have already shown up SSDs with Intel's new 25nm NAND flash chips. But it is unlikely that anyone is able, or allowed to launch solid-state devices with memory chips before Intel starts shipping its G3 series. However, this is so far only qualified speculation on our part.
