I always disable the software which comes along with the Display driver in msconfig>Startup and >Services (after hiding all MS Services) as it can be problematic and isn't needed unless you use special settings or overclock.

Greg i'm a bit of a neewbee with this, can you guide me through what i have to do

Appologies for being such a pain

Type Device Manager in Start Search box, click on Display Adapter, then Driver tab. Try Update driver Automatically to connect to internet to see if there is a newer driver.

If not choose Uninstall driver, then reboot to reinstall the driver automatically.

If this doesn't help, type msconfig in Start Search box, on Startup tab uncheck everything except AV, Apply. Then on Services tab, check the box to Hide All MS Services, then do the same as before, Apply.

After reboots see if the problem returns.
