I bought a new Q9550 by intel supports virtualization on paper and in the bios its there and turned on but for whatever reason when I upgraded from my dual core to a Quad it is not working now I am appreciative any advice I can get I just learned how to publish my apps and use my old printer. If I cant fix this it will suck to not have my laser.
well I dont know why I would The bios seems to recognize the chip right and it has the virtualization turned on it was running it on the Dual core I had before this?
Well I had everything working yesterday and I upgraded my processor from an intel duo dual core to a quad core Q9550 and when I did I now get the error saying that my computer does not support the virtualization mode I looked everything up and it all says its compatible, I went into the bios and the setting for virtualization is on but for whatever reason its not working.
And which virtualization software is it that you are using which is refusing to start properly? And what exactly is the message that you are receiving?

Have you tried resetting the bios settings? Write down all your settings and do a jumper clear to reset everything. Also you should make sure you have the latest bios if you haven't already
