Hi guys! I have this problem on a Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family. I have windows 7 ultimate on Pentium 4, 1gb of ram. display resolution 1024x768. The problem is that i use windows live messenger and since a time i can't use it anymore. I mean in video call. I used to use it normally but now i can't =\. When i start a call it says "Your video card driver does not support the video call feature. Please try a voice call instead." I update java, reinstalled msn, reinstalled the video driver, i've done everything possible!! can someone tell what's wrong?? Thanks

Used to work? Did you by chance upgrade to the newest version of Messenger and it worked in the older version or you mean it worked in XP?

I know this is from a year ago but just wanted to post that there is a fix for this issue and you are able to update the driver even while running windows 7. I know because I just fixed this issue today on an IBM that was upgraded to run Win7

Download the XP driver from here:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...2915G/82910GL+Express+Chipset+Family&lang=eng

Download the file, unzip it. Open up the new folder and right click on the Setup.exe. Go to Properties and go to the Compatibility tab. In here select to "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Also check to Run this program as Administrator at the bottom of the window. Select Apply, and then Ok. Run the Setup.exe and go through the installation. Restart your computer and the driver is installed.

To confirm it is installed go to Start Menu > Right Click on My Computer > Manage. When the new window pops up select Device Manager and on the right side window select Display Adapters it should now list the Intel 82915 driver.

Just so you all know ... this is driver version 4764 -- the LAST driver that Intel released for this chipset. This is the same driver that I was using on my Fujitsu Tablet PC until I retired it this Spring. The driver is an XPDM and will work in Win7, and provides support for stuff like auto-rotation. IF this driver doesn't work for you, then unfortunately, you are OUT of luck.

And BEFORE anyone asks, NO this driver will NOT work in Win8 because MS removed support for XPDM drivers from Win8.

Well I hope the fix works for you. I tried it today on a computer. Was trying for a long time to find a driver for it and found out there was none. Decided to try the XP one and it worked!

This just worked for me on a Dell Optiplex GX280. I tried many other drivers before this and this is the first one that worked at all.
