Intellitype Pro 7 will not install

When I try to install Intellitype 7 if fails with the message 'Could not install a required component: Microsoft Error Application Reporting, Error code 1625'.
The keyboard is a Microsoft Wireless Multimedia 1.0A using 7 Professional OS. I had no problems install IntelliPoint 7 for the wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Hello Martyn and welcome to the forums!

Intellitype 7 is still in beta, and may not play well with your system. You can try installing it in Vista comparability mode, or use an earlier driver

Many thanks for that. It does not like any of the compatibility modes. I had not realised that it was still in beta. I shall wait for the next release and use the old drivers.
